Greetings and welcome to the second grade classrooms of Ms. Burch, Mrs. Irvine, and Mr. Brinker! Second grade is filled with adventure as we explore new literature, learn new vocabulary, and grow our reading ability. In math, we expand our knowledge in numbers by perfecting adding and subtracting two and three digit numbers. Our science curriculum explores solids, liquids, gas, pebbles, sand, and silt and much, much more. Expect your child to lean and grow in leaps and bounds in second grade.
