Geary County Schools USD 475, located in the Flint Hills region surrounded by beautiful Kansas sunshine, lakes, and rivers is home to 13 elementary schools, two middle schools, an alternative school, a virtual school and one career academy focused high school serving the communities of Junction City, Grandview Plaza, Milford and Fort Riley.
The district also offers an early childhood program, all-day kindergarten, and English Language Learner classes. USD 475 is a diverse district, with over 50 languages spoken by our families and students from all over the world.
Geary County Schools USD 475 takes pride in being able to serve the families of those who defend our country, including the Big Red One, First Infantry Division at Fort Riley. With approximately 60 percent of our student population having a military connection, we take pride in the education we provide and attention our students receive as they transition in and out of our district.
USD 475 is a pillar in the Junction City and Geary County communities as it provides a place for learning and growth for our future nurses, police officers, firefighters, auto technicians, chefs, educators and much more.
