Welcome to

Fort Riley Families,

We are very excited to welcome all new and returning families to Fort Riley Elementary School!  We look forward to welcoming and meeting our new families. The staff of Fort Riley Elementary and USD 475 have been working hard making plans for the upcoming school year. We will continue to engage students academically at a high level while maintaining a safe learning environment.

The Geary County Schools USD 475 communications department received three national awards on Wednesday from the National School Public Relations Association, including two "Awards of Excellence" and one “Award of Merit” honors for its efforts in telling the stories and accomplishments of USD 475’s students and staff during the 2025-26 school year.

USD 475 will be serving free lunch to any student, one to 18 years of age, during the month of June, beginning on Monday, June 1 and running through Tuesday, June 30, at Ware Elementary and Lincoln Elementary.
