Fort Riley Families,
We are very excited to welcome all new and returning families to Fort Riley Elementary School! We look forward to welcoming and meeting our new families. The staff of Fort Riley Elementary and USD 475 have been working hard making plans for the upcoming school year. We will continue to engage students academically at a high level while maintaining a safe learning environment.

Geary County Schools USD 475 has earned recognition from the Kansas State Department of Education for the 2023-24 school year in the following areas: Individual Plans of Study and Civic Engagement.

All schools in USD 475 will have a normal school day on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Attendance will be counted.
Geary County Schools USD 475, the Junction City Police Department and the Geary County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a post made on Snapchat on Friday morning that featured the names of students and staff from Junction City Middle School.
Junction City High School seniors Cole Nelson and John Pickler were named semifinalists in the 70th annual National Merit® Scholarship Program on Wednesday.
Schools throughout the district will participate in Freedom Walks on Patriot Day, which occurs on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in memory of those who lost their lives in 2001.
