FE: Dear Parents:

Please see below for updates and events.

September 9 – PTO meeting after school in the library. This is a great opportunity to get involved with your student’s school! There are several positions needing filled for this school year.

September 11Freedom Walk at 1:45 pm. Wear Red, White, and/or Blue to show your support for First Responders and Service Members near and far. Our walk will start in the gym at 1:45. We will sing a few songs and recognize those in attendance. We will then proceed to walk outside. Our walk takes us around the backside of housing on the gravel path. We will return to school on Thunder Rd. and end back at the school around 2:45. Families are welcome to attend. Parents wanting to take their student with them at the end of the walk will sign them out from the classroom. Please don’t take students out of line and leave. For safety and accountability, students need to be signed out from the classroom and the teacher be informed after we return to school.

September 12 – Identity Night (Parent Orientation) at 5:30 pm. Each classroom teacher will have two orientation sessions (only need to attend one). They are at 5:30 pm and 5:50 pm. Teachers will share information about curriculum, the operation of their classroom, etc… At the end of session two, bingo cards will be available. Bingo starts at 6:05 and consists of families getting to know the building and staff by walking around and filling in the bingo card. The evening ends at 7:00 pm.

Have a Great Weekend!
