State Assessments: We wrapped up the English Language Arts test today. We are in the process of scheduling make-up sessions for students who were absent on testing days. Please make every effort to insure your student comes to school well rested and ready for school each day. Finding staff and time to make-up sessions can be very difficult. We will continue with the Math Assessment next week.

Read-A-Thon: The PTO is sponsoring the Read-A-Thon to help support the Accelerated Reader program at FRE. This program allows the staff to connect students with books of interest that on the correct reading level for them. Results of comprehension tests the students take are also analyzed. Funds raised from the Read-A-Thon will go toward the purchase of software for next year, and celebrations this year and next. Please go to the link below to support our school. By clicking on “Login” students can use the code that was sent home to log their minutes. Minutes logged are tracked by student, class, and school.

Book Fair: Our BOGO Book Fair is just around the corner! Volunteers make the book fair a success for students. If you are able to help volunteer, please sign up here: https://bit.ly/2UFZLOW
