New Principal Announced At Fort Riley Elementary

JUNCTION CITY, KAN.  – Geary County Schools USD 475 announced this week that Principal Kenneth Upham will become the new principal at Fort Riley Elementary School (beginning July 1, 2018). Mr. Upham is excited to join Fort Riley Elementary and continue the strong, positive, and instructional culture.

Upham has been the Morris Hill Elementary Principal for the past three years. Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Principal at Seitz Elementary and has also been an Assistant Principal in Maryville, Missouri. Mr. Upham received his Bachelor’s Degree from Emporia State University and his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Pittsburg State University.

Mr. Upham has taught at Spring Valley Elementary, Ware Elementary, and in Gardner, KS and Belton, Missouri. Upham is sad to leave his Morris Hill family but looks forward to the work ahead at Fort Riley Elementary.
