Happy New Year!!! The start of a New Year and time for New Year resolutions. Our staff is reading the book, “Training Camp” by Jon Gordon. Jon is a motivational speaker and writes about how to set goals and ways to achieve them. Did you know that runners quit a marathon at the 20th mile because this is when they lose sight of their vision and mental toughness? Did you know that five percent of a person’s life is made up of their performance on game day while 95% is made up of the time we are preparing, practicing, and waiting to perform? Helping students see the need of coming to school and working hard every day is part of that practice. We want to help our stu-dents have a vision of what they want to be when they grow up and help them continue the hard work to get there. Our wishes to all our families and students to have the best year yet in reaching new goals!!! Some favorite quotes are below. ~ Becky Coy, Principal
